Greenback Cutthroat Trout, RMNP
The Greenback Cutthroat is the state fish of Colorado, and not always so easy to catch or see. Today I hiked with friends and family up to Dream Lake in RMNP, about 10,000 ft above sea level. Dream is known to have the cutthroat in it, so I am not finding some new discovery or something lol. But it's amazing what you can see when you stand very still near the crystal clear water!
