Bangkok, Thailand

This city has changed ALOT since I last spent time here 15 years ago. I have been in and out on day trips or overnights, but hadn't "toured" in a while.  It is far more crowded, polluted and bustling. The addition of the BTS skytrain system is handy, but has changed the city.  Far more cars/taxis, far fewer tuk-tuks and bicycles.  And no shortage of scooters in the bumper to bumper traffic! There are even scooter taxis where you can hop on the back of a bike with an open seat for a couple baht.

We found some delicious eating spots, we love Thai food!  We took the worker bees to the Grand Palace, on an "old Bangkok" long tail boat tour to see the canals, walked a few of the new supermalls, and spent the hot and muggy afternoon hours at the hotel pool.  Tomorrow we start our series of flights back to Fort Collins! Loved our time in Thailand, loved spending time with family here, but excited to get back to the USA :)
