I have a sometimes habit of filming takeoffs, and then making them into little video's. Something to do on long flights :). One of my video's has made it onto TV in the UK! A production company contacted me and asked me for permission to use my footage, and now it is in their TV show. Too funny. Here is the original and the TV segment...

Thanksgiving with friends was wonderful. Three families from Chicago made the trip west, and we made the quick drive from Fort Collins to join our friends for the holiday festivities. There were twenty four of us in total including kids (8 adults, 16 kids). We made for quite a group! Although it's early season, there was plenty of snow for us to have a blast skiing, especially the kids. The Ritz Bachelor Gulch is an amazing property, it has to be one of my all time favorites. We were thankful to be staying there through the generosity and connections of one of the families. The Bachelor Gulch lift is right outside your door and the ski valet makes it fun and simple to hop on the boards and hit the slopes of Beaver Creek. Silas and Lily had their first ski experience- a full day lesson and then 3 days of skiing with us on some nice cruising runs. Our little grommets were stellar. Despite some early trepidation, they were soon bombing the hill and Silas was looking for "off road" skiing opportunities (anything ungroomed and bumpy). Here are a few pictures and a short video.

We had a great trip, about 80 people came with us on the trip from the USA to meet our staff and partners in China. Amazing times of fellowship and fun- always new awareness of the work of the Spirit. I'm posting a few fun pics of the official deal, and in a couple days I may post some more pics of frivolity :) Assorted pictures in this group are some great friends who live in China, some pictures of official meetings at our Beijing HQ, at the banquet, etc. Lastly a shot of the Great Wall, what a great picture taken by my friend Jeam Wong. It was a beautiful day. Jeam took some amazing pictures on this trip!

Got a phone call at 4:40PM from one of his coaches and had that wierd feeling "hey this guy wouldn't be calling me in the middle of practice unless something happened to Quinn...". Ed Sprayberry is a great guy and one of the coaches, he is the one who called me. Sure enough, he said "hey Joe, this is Eddy- you might wanna come over to school and take a look at Quinn. He hurt his arm and is done with practice, he may need an x-ray". So I raced off with Silas in tow, all the family met me in the urgent care center- sure enough Quinno broke one of the bones in his right forearm. Only one week left in the season, so that is a blessing. Pray for his quick healing!

This AT&T store is the busiest in the state of Colorado, and one of the top 10 corporate AT&T stores in the nation believe it or not. They had SO many iPhone 4S in stock for the release. I got there at 7:45AM for an 8AM open- but they had plenty :) Love the iPhone.

A video I took at the Arirang Mass Games in Pyongyang, North Korea. It is an AMAZING spectacle. It lasts almost 2 hours and is like the opening and closing of an Olympics combined. There are 50,000 card turners. The precision is mind boggling. The Rungrado May Day Stadium holds almost 150,000 people.
